That\'s an easy DIY with this info
Dave Z has written some excellent info on this. You can just remove it and reconnect the line and be done. People usually replace the CDV with a modified version only if they are still under warranty and do not want the dealer to see a modification. If you are out of warrantee just rip it out....well don't rip it out do it correctly as instructed

I did it on jackstands, no bleeding - seems ok
But I'm pretty sure if you pay Autobahn in Natick they'd do it for you.
