    cracked and repaired heads?

i just bought a repaired head. originally craked on the cam lobes around piston 5. but has been running well since. would this head be more prone to cracking again or is a mormal one more prone to crack? the reason im asking is because i have a turbo 325i and a none turbo 325i and im wondering which head i should put in each car. thanks every1!Thanks in advance

I would use non-cracked head for turbo

repairing cracked head is OK, but not for pressurized used. Thats How I feel about that. I'm sure it will work fine on a Naturally aspirated engine. So since you have 2 engines, I would use the repaired head on the non turbo car. and the good head on the turbo car.

I would also have the heads completely inspected. make sure there are no other problems.

WOULDNT A CRACKED HEAD BE STRONGER?

IF THEY NORMALLY CRACK AROUND CYLINDER 5, WOULNDT IT BE STRONGER IF THE THE HEAD IS WELDED BECAUSE IT WOULD THEN BE RE-INFORCED! OR HAVE I COMPLEATLY GOT THE WRONG END OF THE STICK?Thanks in advance
