Awesome start! With JPM being such

a jerk in his last year before Mercedesdom, and Ralf not really driving, I'm going to root for Trulli this year. Good guy, solid driver. Let's see what the BMW/Williams driver lineup is next year.

I was glued to my screen from the start...

That was just amazing. Some idiot running on the track during the practice lap, holding his banner wrong side around so no one could read it. 4th place Trulli jumps into first and holds it for several laps. 2nd place JPM drops back to 7th and ends up cooking his brakes for a DNF. Button pushed up from 14th to 8th (I was hoping to see him leap frog up a bit further, but if you are driving in F1 you have to have some skill and aren't just going to let yourself get passed).

And what about Jeff Gordon getting a tour of Jaguar?! I won't hide my feelings... I hate NASCAR. What a boring, worthless car event (not even going to call it a sport).

And at first I didn't like the sounds of all these rules new rules, but if the constructors think that putting some restrictions on technology will help bring more competitors, then by all means. Imagine if we got audi/vw/porsche, chevrolet, lamborghini, etc. into the mix?

Re: im thinking Gene and Villenuve

that would be good, as a big JV fan, who may be a little difficult off the track. I think very few, if any, better on the track

you are an idiot. launch control is already banned

renault uses a device to lock the clutch into place at the optimal point and they release lock and away they go. they had the best electronic launch control system on the grid, and now they have the best manual launch setup. the only electronic driver aid is traction control. below 100mph the driver is responsible for the manual clutch but after that the clutch is electronically controlled for optimal sequential shift times. i love to see people watching and talking about f1, but pull your head out of your as$. plus, by mentioning both fia and ferrari, you are not being repetitive, you are just being retarded for saying that you are being repetitive. fia controls most motorsports outside of the united states. you just think they are one and the same b/c you think f1 is a bit boring b/c of ferrari domination and you blame ferrari. again, think about a sport that is all about technical innovation and progression, then realize you are thinking about F1. don't blame ferrari for doing exactly what they should be doing. blame everyone else for not doing THEIR job. bmw thought they would be competitive with a completely brand new car. yeah right. mclaren needs to get focused again, that is all. other than that, the other teams are doing pretty good for who they are. with the level of technology as it is, it is difficult for every team to be up there, b/c only a handful of engineers are capable of building cars like ferrari has. b.a.r. is catching up real quickly and i expect them to be title contenders by next year. same with renault. mclaren will be back up to speed by next year as well and contending in 2006, that is if the rule changes dont come into effect until after 2006. jaguar needs a good kick in the butt and toyota are just sad. but give them a year or so, gascoyne made renault what it is and he will prob do same for toyota. jordan and sauber are funny. sauber is like baby ferrari, but you would think with last years ferrari engine they would be doing a lot better. jordan, dont know what to say bout them except i love EJ. minardi is one of my favorite teams along with b.a.r. paul stoddart keeps on going even though he knows he will never get there. they know they are back of the pack. for gods sake, they are using an engine that over 2 years old and is not built specifically to withstand a full race weekend. if i were a company looking to inject a lot of money into an f1 team, i would go with minardi for sure. if they had the money, they would be a top team.

it's a demo. so guess what the details are.

You really like to frame your arguments with

ad hominum attacks, don't you? Why? Feeling insecure that your opinions lack credibility without proving to the world what a "big man" you are by throwing in an insult (or 3)?

i am not trying to prove my point by calling this

guy an idiot. dont try to use big words that dont fit here. in fact, i think you are making an argument framed by "ad hominum attacks". puhleaz. common knowledge that launch control is banned already. plus, the fia will discover if launch control is being used illegally. you are completely incorrect. all of my opinions are exactly that: fooking opinions, nothing more, nothing less.

it's a demo. so guess what the details are.
