Diablo Motors, San Ramon, CA

I am considering coming down from the Seattle area to look at two M Roadsters at this shop. Can anybody provide feedback on the reputation of it?

It may be possible for me to stop by there and look at the two cars. One place closer to me is Nohrsauto.com amd eleasereturns.com they sell highline also and people seem to like them.

Thanks, I would be interested in your impression of the place. If I do procede with one of these cars, I was thinking about having Competition Autowerks take a look at it before flying down from Seattle. What do you know about it? I have read a couple of good recomendations for it.

I was right around the corner from Diablo Motors today, I work about 10 blocks from there.
Good move on Comp. Auto, talk to Tom and tell him your situation, he's a great guy and he's got a great shop.

You might also consider German Auto Care in San Ramon to do your inspection; I live in San Ramon and have been taking my BMW's to Axel (the owner) for a long time.

If you like I will also stop by Diablo Motors and look at whatever car you like and give you an update. If you want to take it further from there, I'll even see about having it inspected/reviewed at the San Ramon shop of your choice (Axel's or Comp Auto). Before you spend any money on an airplane ticket you'll have a good sense of what you'll see, and prob'ly drive it home if you work out a fair price.

Someone else mentioned Eleasereturns.com (also in San Ramon) and I would also suggest you review their inventory; he gets some nice BMW's and he's close to German Auto Care.

Thanks a lot for the generous offer. Just started the search for this car. Wife really likes the red with full black interior. That really narrows things down, but since it is early we'll stick with it for awhile. Will keep checking the recommended sites.

Not yet. Only two weeks into the search. Wife loves red with full black leather, so black or silver won't do yet. That narrows the field quite a bit. Will keep looking. If anybody hears of anything, let me know.
