Generally speaking the Monte Carlo race is unique in that passing is VERY hard, so very often the person who gets a ahead at the first corner generally stays in that spot, with Renault's mechanical launch control they have a good chance on hopping up front in the first corner.. of course that will only be possible if they qualify well

. . . add in the fact that Michelin still might have a slight mechanical grip advantage over the Ferraristones, and Ferrari's aero efficiency doesn't mean squat at Monaco, and this may be the only race other than Hungary where somebody else might be a slight favorite to win.

This means Williams now has the same aero components as BAR, which should make the car more competitive. Still took them good 2 races to catch up, not good.
