New England Area gathering .... any interest?
Ok. So the Left Coast is planning a gathering - Great for the Left Coast! How about we hold something on the East Coast?
Here's my suggestion. Bavarian Auto in Portsmouth, NH holds an annual "Shoe & Shine" at their store every October. While I know this is a trek for those not in the New England area, it could at least be a start.
I don't think they have set the date for the 2004 event yet. But, I am definitely planning to be there with "Mog", my '84 733 project. If anyone else is interested in keep up with the event, please post your email and I'll build a list. As the event date is set and the time draws near, we can coordinate a time and place to meet and arrive "en masse"! Cool!!!
Please post your interest, even if you can't make it. AND, if anyone wants to try to plan something for the mid-Atlantic area, PLEASE DO SO!!!AHager 84 e23 & 90 E34 - All 5 speed!!!

June 19th and 20th! Who else is in?
This is one of the biggest events if not the biggest that the club has. The 19th is a Concours with some of the best BMW's in the northeast and the 20th is German car day with BMW's and those other German makes, you know, the automatic transmission ones that our parents drive.
I hope to see everybody there, I'll be there with my Roadfly T-shirt and sunblock!
Get the details on The Boston Chapter website.

WOW!
Man, I forgot I had posted here. I got no replys on the main e23 site in Road Fly.
I have written to the folks at Bav Auto about the exact date for their event. It is a blast - BMWs, Beer and brats! COOL!
Best to all of you who will be at the Brookline event on the 18th; I will be in the UK on a family trip (first time) and will miss it. My loss, but I think we'll have fun!
Cheers! I'll keep us posted! Thanks for the interest!!!
BTW - Say a nice Maroon e23 at Weston Automotive the other day ... belong to anyone here?AHager 84 e23 & 90 E34 - All 5 speed!!!

Octoberfest hints and a pic
The Bav Auto Octoberfest catches a shizzotload of cars and people.
They are also generous with lots of giveaways, food and yes....BEER!
My advice to any wanting premium spots is to arrive early.
Here\'s a shot of the front of my M6 from Bav Auto website, from 2003 Octoberfest below:
See you there this October!
Best,
Paul :-)
