Anybody done a bumper conversion to early /euro on

    a 74-'76 E3? Is body work required, as on a 2002?

    Body work is required.

For the front if you want it to look authentic...
You have to get the frame rails from an early car and the valance. There are holes in the fenders that will need filling

    For the rear
Much easier. They bolt right up, all you have to do is weld a patch over the shock holes.

This is a big job, I wouldn't do it unless I was planning on restoring and painting the car. I would pick up a front clip for the bodyman so he can see how it should look and can butt weld the valance.
