They pulled him off before his engine blew up.

    1) To see if they could find the problem, this time...
    2) So a BAR type incedent would not happen for the second time in the race.<html>

    KUDOS to McLaren vs. BAR

McLaren could see the engine was having issues and pulled KIMI in.

BAR as well as all of us watching could see Takuma Sato engine smoking, even the announcers mentioned why he doesn't pull out????

BAR would of have major guilt on their hands if any drivers were seriously injured or killed for their STUPID strategey of keeping the car on the track. Your car is smoking!!! DUH, guess what's going to happen next???

Coulthard and SAUBER payed for BAR stupidity!!!

Re: KUDOS to McLaren vs. BAR

The only thing that made it easier for McLaren to pull off before the blowup was the fact that the only thing consistent about their season has been engine failures. They wanted to catch one "in the act" of self destructing I think. It may have been the hydraulics though, I can't remember for sure.<html>

    Sportsmanship

All teams have telemetry, when the TV commentators remark the other drivers are in danger, Richards should of pulled Sato, his stupidity cossed him more damge to his car, and reputation.
