In addition to 38 '02s, including Phil Marx' convertible, there was an M-1 and Doug Dolan's M5-engined "3.5CS".

Yup Phil stole the show as far as I am concerned with that beautiful 1600.
I will reserve comments about Phil for personal reasons but that 1600 drop top is an eye catcher.

You are not referring to the Carlisle Import/Kit car show last weekend are you? (May 21-23)
I was there, and did not see many BMW's at all. Did I miss something?

    Yup
The BMW section spilled over into the opal section. If you like 02's it was a good fest. Although we were only there on sat I can't speak for the other 2 days
