Tire question -Z3
I've S03-Pole Position on my 98 Z3 (2.8)
It was awful during winter.
I need to change my tires (all season )
Any Tire recommendation ??
Can you recommend any place nears Tysons Corner for new tires ??
Thanks

I don\'t really recommend driving the Z3 during
snow and ice but if you want to or have to, I'd recommend a set of spare wheel tire package with snow tires. For tire brand I recommend Vredsteins. They are the best snow and ice tires. For tire shop I'd recommend Radial Tire in Silver spring.
Now if you don't want the spare wheel set and only want to replace tires, I'd recommend Michelin Pilot Sport A/S. I have them on my 8 and my wife's MB. Even though, I don't drive the 8 during snow but those tires did do a good job on some icy slopes (high slope to the house) and driveway.

Some people ...
get winter tire and cheep wheels from TireRack. They store the wheels and tires until winter, then they just take out the perf tires and install the winter wheel/tire set. Others, just don't drive their Z3s when theres snow on the ground or at all during the winter season.
