    Question on MAF placement

NE1 know the correct placement of the stock MAF meter on a SC'ed BMW:
    1) on the intake of the blower (non-pressurized air)
    - or -
    2) the intake of the motor (M70) (pressurized air)?

The reason for the question is that in the current configuration, the MAF has been placed using configuration 2) above and we are seeing strong power upto around 4.2K - 4.5K RPM but then dramatically loose power. No fuel starvation at that RPM level (A/F Ratio is perfect!)

Could it be that we need to place the MAF using config 1 or replace the stock MAF w/ a higher capacity (Euro M3) and reprogram using current configuration (1 above)?
