has anybody else been receiving scam mail in thier roadfly accts?
I think it's time to put a stop to this type of crap.
I recieved one from some clown trying to convince me to help him bring millions of dollars into the country.
the last time I checked this was a BMW forum, not a playground for the crimanally stupid. WTF!

spammer/scammer pulls our emails of these pages
It is nothing Roadfly is doing or even Roadfly users. Anywhere a valid email address is posted on a website, some web spider will find it and add it to a database.
When we post cars for sale, whether here, Bf.c, Turner, Autotrader,... , the car sale scammers grab our info and try to buy our cars with the too large check and have us refund the difference. I had someone contact me on a saturday morning using Sprint's translator service trying to scam me. I've stopped counting the number of emails. The Gov't is working on tracking them down and we just need to be smart in deleting the emails.

Re: e-mail scams
From; Mr. Benson K. Addo
I have a proposal for you - this however is not mandatory nor will I in
manner compel you to honor against your will.
I have to introduce myself first; my name is Benson Addo a banker
with one of the leading banks in West Africa. In this bank existed a
account for the past 8 years, which belong to a Syria national who is
late. When we discovered that there had been no deposits nor
from this account for this long period, I and my two other colleagues
decided to carry out a system investigation and discovered that non of
family member nor relations of the late Syrian is aware of this
This is the story in a nutshell. Now we want an account overseas where
can transfer these funds.
Thereafter, we had planned to destroy all related documents for this
account. It is a careful network and for the past eleven months we have
worked out everything to ensure a hitch-free operation.
The amount is not so much at the moment and plus all the accumulated
interest the balance in this account stands at US$52 million US
Now our questions are: -
1.Can you handle this project?
2.Can we give you this trust?
3.What will be your commission?
Consider this and get back at us as soon as possible. Finally, it is
humble prayer that the information as contained here in is accorded the
necessary attention, urgency as well as the secrecy it deserves.
I hope my mail did not come as an embarrassment to you, but if it does
please kindly accept my apologies.
Thanks in anticipation.
Mr. Benson K. Addo
(Ghana West Africa)
