e30 turbo questions

my e30 keep fouling plugs talked to jim rowe he recommended a wr 6 or 7 plug as a colder plug
does this sound like it will solve my problem
also i was reading about catch cans do i need to have a catch can as the guy working on my car said there is no crank breather

As far as the catch can, you can vent the PCV system ahead of the turbo (which is always lower than atm. pressure while the car is running) which will probably help the fouling problem (lower crankcase pressure helps to keep oil from blowing by the piston rings). If there's no crankcase breather at all I'm amazed you haven't blown a seal yet.

havent driven the car at all they drove it to the muffler shop total of 16 miles but where and how is there supposed to be a crankcase breather thanks frank
