New to the Bay Area
Hi everyone,
I've been in the Bay area for a little over a month now. I posted the thread about the problems with paying Cali tax (thanks for all the help!).
Now, after the move, there was some weird rattling noise when I start the car. It's intermittant. So I took it today to Alison BMW. $135 an hour?!!!!! wow, that was a shocker..
So I figured I'd come here and see what recomendations you guys have for good BMW shops. I live in Sunnyvale and work in Mountain View, so I'd prefer something in that area.
Thanks!

Welcome to my kingdom!
As far as dealers are concerned it is a crap shoot. Allison is a dealer people complain about. One of my 7 series cohorts has has exceptional luck at Peter Pan. I assume you didn't have to pay the tax?
Remember also unlike Canada, registration is a yearly deal. Unless that has changed in Canada, my wife flipped when she had to pay it yearly (long, long time ago in a country far far away....)
Good luck, eh?

European Car in Sunnyvale . . .
Bavarian Professionals in Sunnyvale, I've used both. You can also try The Driving Machine in Cupertino, not used them but heard good things. Then there's always Dinan in MV, but they probably charge as much as Alison!!!
HTH and welcome to the best weather on Earth!!!
Cheers, Bob
