    Gordon.........

I know when he drove the Williams BMW last year he loved it. This year he has expressed he felt slow in his Nascar when he got back in it. I dont know if anyone is looking at it seriously? I think F1 teams are not thinking about the sponsorship goldmine. Formula one would get huge support from the U.S.. His lap times at Indy were only about 3 seconds a lap slow after only 5 or so laps. Who know's, I know he has to want it and nobody is approaching him hard enough.

he has already said that he missed his chance

in f1. he would not leave nascar now, b/c of all the strains on himself, and that he is basically too old to enter f1 now. i think that instead of gordon, put tony stewart in f1. he has the attitude, the name, and the driving skills to race in f1.

f1 needs more drivers that speak their mind.

f1 needs more eddie irvine's and villeneuve's. i think that tony stewart would be a great addition to f1. he would introduce a whole different type of sponsor to f1 that will probably enter the sport in about a few years when [Oops!] sponsorship disappears completely, because their total demise is inevitable. it is tiring to hear a driver give THE politically correct statement that has been prepared by their manager or team principal. i want to hear that the car is crappy, or the tires arent that good today or this driver is doing this. each man is competing against every other man out there for that extra 10th of a second and most will do almost anything to get that extra 10th, so why not make the sport more entertaining by really having the drivers talk about their sport, and what is going on inside it. that is what makes nascar so great. they dont flaunt or push bad or extremely aggressive behavior, but they do use it to their advantage and they dont hide it. f1 is like that private club that you cant get into, but every now and then you are charged an extremely high price to see it up close and get a quick peek. the cars run for a few hours a weekend and that is all the contact that ANYBODY gets with the teams. f1 needs to open up and have its drivers really speak their mind. plus, they need to increase the passing on the track. lately, their has not been much of any passing going on. i know usually f1 has much less on track passing than other motorsports, but lately it is getting ridiculous.

i think that by introducing drivers to a true interview with their own opinions being stated, f1 might find a boost.

    I think..............

I think Gordon would bring more people to the sport in the US. I dont disagree with having TS in F1, he just would not be my first choice. It would be sweet to have both of them in F1. Just imagine
these guys racing against Montoya, Kimi, Schumacher. It would be a
    great day in American motorsports.

IMO I dont think he would hang with those guys

WRC to me is the hardest form of motorsport. Loss of concentration is almost certain to be repayed with a massive injury.

ts is better racer than gordon imo. i saw ts drive

a 3 wheeled car around daytona with the infield at a semi-competitive and only have to stop driving b/c the car completely brokedown on him. the guy is awesome behind the wheel. he took the LEAD in the rolex 24 hour in the rain in a car he had never driven in the rain, nor ever RACED in the rain. i think that ts slight lack of popularity when compared to jeff gordon would be ignored because of his superior skill. gordon has never won anything big in an open wheel race series, however, tony stewart is an irl champ and has competed in dual races in the indy 500 and a nascar race.
