    Paintless Dent Repair

Anyone use a process called Paintless Dent Repair (PDR). Supposedly, these technicians can smooth out a minor dent without having go to a body shop for a couple of hours to have the whole panel removed, replaced, repainted, etc. This process only takes 30-40 minutes and costs about $100-$200.

Unfortunately, I had my bike rack fall on the hood of my X5 and got a 2 inch gash that hopefully can be repaired tomorrow.

I'm using a mobile company called quality pdr located in the Baltimore area. You can check it out at www.qualitypdr.com.

    Any feedback?

i just used the same guys yesterday on my 530i, had 4 dents on the left side, cost like $129 to repair, no paint breaking or anything like it...impressive! took about 30 minutes. they used a pick tool that went inside the door panel between the window and the door and pushed the dent out very carefully! good luck.
