I have some pretty cool news!

Hi All, just thought I would share the excellent news (the timing couldn't be better!)...I just bought a house!!!

It's going to be the bachelor pad, about 1500 sq. ft and nicely updated on the inside and out. The guy really took care of it and lived there for 13 years, so you can tell it was nicely maintained. New furnace, 5 year old roof, new driveway, etc. I got about 5% off list price, which I guess isn't too bad considering the real estate bubble.

So now the toys....a snow blower and a tractor :) You guys have any reccomendations? I have a small, flat lot... .3 acres. The .3 is all lawn though.

All my lawn toys are John Deere

tractor, snow blower, string trimmer, edger, leaf blower, etc. I've always had great luck with JD, I highly recommend their products.

Congrats, Chris! Is it in MA or CT?

Snow blower is a good idea, since a plow gut will likely rip up your lawn by the driveway, and you can direct the snow where to land, as opposed to having a huge pile at one spot. I would keep the tires on the snowblower at 17's or 18's- 20's would probably suck in snow. Chrome spinners would dress it up nicely too! :)

NOS on the tractor will make mowing much faster!

    Congrats and good luck!
