Ok guys and gals.
What you think about the meet on the Octuber 2nd/2004?
Ken (85-635 of the Flower Mound) and I found a place that will provide a place for us to meet.
It is located in the Flower Mound (just West of Lewisville). The woner of the bar and grill is also a BMW owner. He will let us to use his parking lot for our car display. The time will be from 5 PM till they run out of beer.
Name of the place is Z-werver and the address is 2321 Cross Timber, suite 413, Flower Mound. The telephone number is 972-691-2300. If you need some direction, please contact the them. You may wanto to take I35 North and exit of the Main St. in Lweisville and turn West (left) into the Main St. Keep on going (about 3 ml. It is located on your left.

Once it is final, I will post the mesage on the main page as well.

The owner also owns the SONOMA Bar & Grill located just down Main St. (1/2 mile) from Z. It has 12 Plasma TVs (one 6 ft.) and serve's great food like its sister restaurant. The bar area is large and has tall bar tables and stools - enough to accommodate 40-50 people comfortably. The other side is also nice and is more suited for family table dinning where the 6-foot Plasma is and can accommodate another 75-100 people. This location provides easy access to I-35 (5min) and to DFW Airport (15min).

I'd like to move the meet out another week 10/9 (Saturday) to better prepared some activities. I'd also like to have a roll-sign that landmarks the site. It could read something like "BMW CCA & LSC Chapter Meet - sponsored by 6 Series (e24) Message Board".

The sign (roll-up) can be made whereby it stands in the ground on 7-ft polls or hangs near the restaurants marquee. What do you think?

Excellent work Ben. I've been very busy this week with my September project deoverables and have not gotten around to looking into the poster-sign we discussed. I will get around to it Saturday morning!

Is this event on definitely on Oct. 9? I have seen two different times posted- 5pm-"out of beer" and 2pm-5pm. Which one is it? As soon as I find out, I'll post the information on the DFW '02 and 2002FAQ boards.

Also, does anyone know the local E9 group? It would be nice to see some local CS coupes at the show.
