Having just ran into an old friend here the other day (Mike Kuhn) and having just confirmed with him that I'd be making this little get together, I'm a little disappointed with the change of suggested time. I'm afraid the Texas/O.U. game comes out way ahead of the meet on my "need to do" list. I don't know what happened to the 5pm to "run out of beer" time slot I'd seen proposed, but that's what I was going by, and the middle of the afternoon doesn't work for me at all on that day.

Sorry about this Mike. Maybe we can get together and go hit those roads out west pretty soon. I'll check back to see if they move the time again, but my vein's have 4 1/2 years of orange still bleeding thru them that I can't just ignore. :)

This would have been the same weekend for "The Great Bimmer/Mini Roundup" in Tyler had BMPDesign not cancelled it - same thing was true last year and the year before. Besides its a "Sport Bar & Grill" with 12 HD TVs - one 6-ft all others are 46-inch. So come on out and enjoy the game as well.

It's the timing, not the day. I'll be at the game and the early start time would mean I'd have to be in a bit of a hurry to get my other half back home (I'm in the country out in Parker County) and then turn around and get back over to Flower Mound with sufficient time to do much of anything.

As far as the BMP meet, that's a non-issue for me as I wasn't planning on doing it again, at least anytime soon.

Maybe I'll catch the next meet, but I still wish we'd have been able to go with 5:00 pm to "run out of beer" time slot.
