The prob is that RF will not miss anyone or+
any of us...or, our 30 bucks, (though I have been a persistent pitchman in posting for new signups based upon what I felt was perceived value.)
Ol'RF is rolling in ads and stuff. It may not overflow the coffers, but they could not care less about a doz or 20 of us bolting.
The X5 Main Bored will stagger on, (reading like the X3 board with inane/housewife-like questions on tire press., where's the squeak coming from, etc.) But, it's like pulling one's hand from a bucket of water: 30 secs later it looks like nothing has occurred.
Am all for the migration, but it will be a pyrrhic victory at best. But I will be with the gang. Sometimes ya'gotta walk the walk.
If one isn't enraged by things in these times in the ol'USA, one is not paying attention, imo.
It is what it is.

You're wrong if you think I don't care about...
...people leaving. Believe it or not, I don't see all of you guys out there as a big group of $$$ signs. You're not. You are a bunch of individuals who have been a part of the site for a long time.
Anytime there is a large group of people in one spot, conflicts over various things arise. Lord knows I have had to do my share of 'moderating' conflicts between various people on the boards, including a lot on the X5 board and Lounge.
I understand why some old-timers feel slighted about having a finger wagged in their face and their posting privileges temporarily suspended for not complying with an admin's request that they disagreed with. However, I also obviously understand the other side of things as one of the admins of the site.
The bottom line is that no matter how unfair a rule seems, it just doesn't do any good to try to argue with an admin about it in public. That will always result in posts being deleted and people being suspended. It is like back-talking to your mom...nothing good ever comes of that, even if your mom is really wrong.
I wish that a lot more of the discussion over the 'porn' rule had taken place via email where it belonged, and that goes for both sides. I've been willing to make posts saying that I am at fault for being inconsistent and that we could have handled things differently. But, it seems that the other side is being a bit stubborn and does not want to admit to any wrongdoing on their part. I'm not trying to point fingers or anything, but it does take at least two parties to have a disagreement, and a few members knew they were pushing some buttons and pushing some boundaries with their posts.
Anyway, it is a shame that all of this has transpired, and in the end I don't care about the few $ that might be gone from a few Inner Circle members...I am sad that people who I am sure would have been cool to hang out with in real life instead of in this artificial petri dish we call the internet now feel that this one issue is worth trashing an awful lot of history for and feel like they should leave. I sure don't want them to.
