    forget 0-60....

    0-60 is a totally irrelevant number anyway.
    Where all turbodiesels shine is in gear acceleration.80-120km(50-75mph)numbers of the 120d are better than those for the 330i.
    At 3k rpm the 120d produces 150 hp,the 330i about 110-120hp,over 100 hp are already available at 2k rpm,at 2k rpm the 330i produces just 80.Even a 3liter gasoline engine has to be agressively redlined to beat a 120d.

    Strange comparison

    You are comparing the gasoline "M" models of the other brand with a 120D/125i? Something you should do in case of a future M1.
