Intros..Is that you ? Roadfly ?
Thanks for that headsup ,Tan. I hope everybody that is going to Bavauto has a safe drive. This is not a race. How are we going to say hi to other people on this board at the show if we dont know what they look like ? does anybody have an idea ? how about a small piece of ribbon tied on your rearview mirror ? or a small card on the dash "Roadfly" . Any ideas ?

I didn't see anyone there with RF on mirror
I had Roadfly written on a biz card stuck on my rear view mirror, but didn't find anyone doing the same. Mine was the only 5 series touring there
Good show.
I was following an e28 535 with license plate "1Qwk535", he got stopped by the police in Hampton beach, don't know why, we were driving at 20mph and behaving well :), hope he didn't get any citation.

Re: I didn't see anyone there with RF on mirror
I wrote Roadfly New England Board on my entry sheet on the windshield , but Matt & I were not with the car very much as there were way too many other cars to look at .Is your touring green ? If so I did see it . Man are those NY guys into "IT" or what ?

yeah they are, they must live
with their mothers, dropping 20gs into bodywork on an expensive enough car at their age.
i didnt recognize any cars there though. i for 5 series, i liked the worst of show winner out back, with its 5er fest worst of show plaque.
i have a mess of pictures, may post some.“If it was not for r3vlimited my car would still be stock.”

Thanks, I test drove the X5 also
My sister has an X5 4.4i, I drove it a few times, but still like the touring better generally. In NE winters though, nothing beats the X5. The touring with snow tires is very confident in snow due to the DSC and perfect weight distribution.

Might be a Euro delivery with Indidual package
I went to Germany this summer and had a chance to browse the dealer's lot, there're quite a few unique interior colors and trims that I haven't seen in the US, most cars there are not as "loaded" as US cars.
