No BMW In F1 in 2006??

Since F1 is insisting they will go forward with V8 engines in '06, and BMW having already stated their lack of interest in participating with V8 engines, is F1 forcing BMWs hand? Would BMW truely walk away to pursue other motorsport pursuits??

BMW and the other companies in F1 have gone to

the "next level" in their plans to start a separate series in 07 or 08. They're putting major-league pressure on Bernie (the group includes Ferrari). Does BMW intend to bag the V8 rules? Dunno...

Perhaps BMW will return to the AMLS with the V-8-powered E90 M3.
