Dallas - Fort Worth 7 Series Meet. 11/07 Sunday

Our Meet is set for 11/07/04, Sunday 1:00 PM, rain or shine. We would love to see various types of BMW 7 Series (E23, E32, E38, E65/66) there. This is going to be a good Meet, we have a paintless dent repair and a mobile touch-up painting vendor(s) participating. They have recently performed their work for other local BMW clubs (Z3?). We also have a DIY Zaino interior leather care session. For further Meet details, visit DFW7's website's Calender section www.dfw7.com

Meet Location: 508 Twilight Trail, Suite 204, Richardson, TX 75080
    Date & Time: November 07, 2004 Sunday, 1:00 PM

    DFW7 F&Q

    Hello Ben, Kenneth,

Look forward to meeting you this Sunday. Below is a little f&q about DFW7 (since we haven't been active in this forum).

DFW7 has been meeting more or less on quarterly basis since March of 2002. This club, like other BMW 7 Series clubs in US (i.e. Seattle7, SoCal7, Sunshine7, etc...), were formed around the same time due to lack of local club activities or emphasis for the 7 Series, and of course, the love of our vehicles. DFW7, like most car clubs, are open to car enthusiasts and guests. We had Z3, M5 and other car owners visited our Meet in the past. I like to mention that during events such as Tech Sessions, where space (i.e. donor car) are extremely limited, we would let the 7 Series owners have the priority. But that's on rare occasions. I want to make it very clear that we "WELCOME" everyone (well, unless you come completely naked in a Yugo, but again, if you do that, we most likely would put you in the center of our photo shoot.....). Just want to be clear so there won't be any mishaps. Having said that, I don't foresee any situation such as that for this Sunday's event.

Once again, welcome to our Meet, look forward to seeing your pristine 6's this Sunday!

    James Lin

DFW7 11/07 Meet a success! See Pics inside.

We had an excellent turnout today. It was a picture perfect day; in all, 17 cars showed up for the exterior and interior care Meet. Among the newbies were Dan, Justin, Joe, Doug; guests Ben, Ken and Rick. For exterior care, we had Pete who explained and performed demo paintless dent repair on couple cars and presented discount quotes to the participants. Corky gave details and offered touchup paint service at a very reasonable rate. A few guys also took on the DIY Zaino interior leather treatment. The Meet started at 1:00 PM and the last ones did not depart until after 5:30 PM. We had a great time sharing our knowledge as well as discussion of our future modifications and next January’s Tech Session details. Below are some Pics of today's Meet.

Hi Kenneth, glad you can make it!

Beautiful 6's you & Ben have! 6, 7 or 8 series are always welcomed! Of course, we are open door to car enthusiasts, period! Look forward to our next Meet in 1/05.
