Hi Ian! Sorry you got skunked ;-(
Mark decided that we needed to take a LONG drive yesterday. He loves driving my car, so this one way for him to get to drive it. He's going fishing on Thursday. Maybe he'll catch some of those salmon you were talking about.

Hey Kev!
Are you talking about the dead salmon being stinky? I never noticed fresh/live salmon being stinky. Are you back working now?

Salmon
Fresh salmon slime = stinky!!! salmon fillets =better not stink. I worked with fishing boats for 10 years so I am slightly biased about fish... I only eat salmon when in Vancouver.
Hmmmm, drive idea??
No, I shouldn't be working until mid Dec-early Jan. It is helping my brain get reorganized. 1 Week vacations just don't cut it.

I never noticed the stinky slime. Mark
cleans the fish, etc., so maybe he's noticed it. I just eat it, and cook it when he doesn't want to. I only buy wild salmon. Not farm raised.
Another drive? Nothing in mind right now. Are you anxious to get out?
Must be nice to have such a LONG vacation!

Re: I never noticed the stinky slime. Mark
yah, i saw on the news when they were thinking about cutting the season short
they quoted chefs on saying farm raised PALES in comparison to wild ones :)
i'll e-mail you the pic of the beauty i watched a guy pull out
i never knew sac had such great places
absolutely beautiful out there
at the howe access point i actually rolled up my pants and waded in the water up to my damn thighs....
after about 15 minutes i lost all feeling, so it was all good =P
dead rotting salmon = stinky!
