Closet Audi guy
Actually I think of myself as "recovering" Audi-addict...
I had a '99 A6 and 2001 allroad (my "handle" on the Audi sites was allroadguy)... Anywhoo, I was an Audi loyalist for a few years only because I found them to be less common than BMW...
I LOVED both my Audi's - not a single problem with either... However, I still feel BMW has better reliability (mainly because they don't dabble so much in the "turbo" world and I find the "new" face (E60, E64, Z4, etc.) to be rather progressive. To me the "new" A6 appears to be nothing more than a Facelift. Where the new 5 LOOKS like a redesign...
I posted a link to my (auto) photo album if you want to see some pix.
(Cut/paste the below into your browser if it doesn't work)
Cheers!

Nice pix. Thx for sharing.
Looks like you're missing the rest of your arm in the autocross picture. So, do you just have the Bimmers now? In addition to my car, our stable consists of an '02 Tahoe and a '99 Jeep Grand Cherokee which the boys drive.

What's this 2 weeks Oahu thing? Going on vacation agaaaaainnnnn? And, another thing, you aren't very nice putting the Lahaina temp. gauge in your signature. It's freezing here and warm there. Waaaaaaa.

Jealous again?
Not this year or next in 06 it will be two weeks in Oahu. Or 1 week Oahu and 1 week in Maui. Think of it...
Pineapples
Papayas
Poki ( Ahi tuna salad, Viv's reccomendation)
And something else I can't remember.

Re: Closet Audi guy
I like the look of the Audis more so than the new 5 series. I just want to get something you can drive into a concrete barrier and walk out of.
Thanks, looks like you have fun with your cars.

Mariott timeshare. Plan a year in advance.
Bank a year (05) and stay two weeks in a warm sunny location (06).
No Mai Tais for me. Dora is the lush. When I drink it gets REAL ugly.

Oh, good idea. Always good to save ;-)
You don't like Mai Tais? That very unHawaiian-visitorish of you.
Do you take the kids? I'd like to go in March during Easter break.

I never understood how that time share crap works
I dunno, but only being able to use a place for a set amount of time a year.....
I need to get rich like my uncle so I can buy a cabin up in truckee like him
but it's all good, I call in advance and "reserve" the place and a bunch of buddies and I go up and have a FULL day on the slopes
gotta love a full day of boarding, although the body gets weak ;[
it's sooooooooo colllllllld
but i think of it as training for my korean winter break heh heh
0 > degree temps here i come, kind of scared to add the wind chill factor
boo on audis! i'm just messing with you idrive heh heh

Re: Nice pix. Thx for sharing.
Viv,
I'm so shocked... You have "boys" old enough to DRIVE??? Even still I bet you’re the COOLEST mom around... I mean, ANY woman into cars is a "HOT CHICK" to me! (IS that too un-PC???)
Anywhoo, Yer gonna laugh. In addition to clone E60's, I have clone 2002 VW TDI's - one black (pictured in link) and one red (not pictured). I'm an "out of the closet" VW fan! Have been a HUGE VW fan since high school.... which of course was only about a year or so ago... ;-)
Cheers!

Timeshares can be a good deal if you
typically take a vacation every year or couple of years and want to go to places on their list. We're not that kind of vacationeer, so figured it wouldn't be worth it to us.

The kids are worthy, not very but worthy.
Alcohol and I get ugly. A little bit goes too far.. not a pretty sight. Love the taste of some of it though.
We figure that if we bought in Hawaii then going anywhere else would be easy to get into. 100% demand to get on Maui and if we rent it out it is good for ~$2500. Cheapest air and car I have found yet is through Pleasant holidays.
