    twice a year?

    hey Mark,

please feel free to pass those 6months old used wiper blades to my hands. i'm pretty sure they are still in good condition, since my current ones (probably 2-3yrs old) are still working okay.

i've never replaced mine, but i think it's about time to replace them. hahahah :)

Maybe I am the only one!

The E30 got new ones twice a year, but they were over the counter from Schucks and didn't seem to last that long.

The E38 gets them once a year in the fall. The E39 is still under PM from BMW so they do it for me.

    You are not alone ........

Usually replace inserts in the spring and fall. I've tried what seems to be every replacement insert on the market and I keep coming back to the OEM rubber. For me, OEM just seems to work better and does it for a longer period of time.

    W/S Problem

The wiper problem is really a W/S problem if the car has been driven on the highway for 50,000 plus miles. The W/S get "sandblasted" by road debris and loses it ablity for a "good wipe". Short of replacing the W/S, there is not much you can do about it.

    Thanks Filehorse...

I like having a perfectly clean swipe, and nothing beats swapping out the inserts that often.

I was starting to think it was just me...
