Licensing?

So I've been looking into licensing requirements for Club Racing but the info on the BMW CCA site appears to be old. How did the folks who race and post here get your licenses? Any recommendations?

Thanks, and I found that link, but I was wondering who took their school and where? Did you attend a SCCA, BMW school, or a professional racing school like Derek Daley, Skip Barber, or ESPN?

Was your car ready to race? Did you learn on your current race car? What was your first race car?

none of those... I started attending driver's schools. Did a ton of them and then became an instuctor. Next progression was to move to racing.
My advice is to attend a number of driver's schools, learn how to control your car, and then take a BMW Introduction to Racing school. After that, make the decision to get into racing. Team up with someone who currently races the car you want to run. My first race car was a 320i that had gradually evolved from a street car to a track car and then to a EM race car.... Lots of money waisted along the way.
Last January, I started building a 2002 and finished it in September.
