    Info about Champiro tires

Does anyone have info about the Champiro brand? The guy at the shop says they are an off-label brand of Goodyear, but I can't find any info on performance or reliability or anything. Thanks!

they are great tires, and inexpensive too!
The only problem is that they are hard to find.
I have a 96 saab and they really hold the road on turns and are very durable

    Re: Info about Champiro tires

I've got Champiro 45 tyres fitted to my car and they are not very good, they were on the back and the back would slide on cold damp roads, I've now swapped them to the front and the car understeers and I get wheel spin when accelerating. The Previous tyres were Continental Sports which seemed better, but now I've got AVON ZV3 which are excellent when on the front I could accelerate hard with no understeer and no wheel spin. On the back they are solid. They are good on Snow, in the wet and on dry hot roads!
Champiro are cheap for a reason, they seem to last ok though

    Re: Info about Champiro tires

    Hi Dave!

I have winter Chapiro tires and I am very, very satisfied with them. Every year I drive about 30 000 km and had them for 3 winters. They are not very expansive and for all the winter tires I've tried that can be compared, they are the best you can have for a quality that good at that price. I was very surprised even thow my driving is "rough"...and I like speeding a bit.
Hope it'll help you make your choice!
