    Paging kurt koeller or Keller

It is very well known that you are the guy to talk to with regards to
    BMW automatic gearboxes
I hope you can help me

    I own an E38 from 95
And I have a problem; I fear that my transmission needs an overhaul
    Symptom:
Driving on the freeway around 55mph/90kmh at 1200 to 1400 rpm I get a rumble
This rumble at first was very low in volume but now it scares my kids
And it only comes when I have specific power setting and by letting up or by pressing the gas pedal the rumble disperse or even shifting into 4 gear
    One more thing
I feel that I lose a bit of power when this happens
and I don't get this problem until the car gets to normal working temperature
But this can maybe be explained by the gearbox shifting at higher RPM’s when the engine is cold

If I floor it runs great it dose not seem to slip and shift smooth as silk
I feel if I have a higher RPM it dose not rumble
if I just stay in "S" mode I never hear any rumble

I hope you will be able to help me
    Thanks frow Sweden
