I thought you might like to see some photos of the Merceds SLK55 AMG that I just got to park beside the '97 740i -- you know the one in which I put a $10,000 engine after the radiator failed but which, thankfully, is doing fine now.

The SLK is outrageous -- 355 hp. 7-speed automatic with shift buttons on the steering wheel, 6-pison calipers and aluminum hubs, retractable hardtop and 0-60 in 4.7 sec. Truly a pocket rocket.
