He partially did mine last year....more...
Frank had my car last year for 6 or 7 weeks. He did a lot of work on my 1987 635 which had some rust issues, and I paid his asking price of nearly 7 grand to fix everything, paid half in advance and the rest upon pickup of the car. This last summer I had to fork out another (over)2 grand to fix what he missed. He seems a very nice guy but I am less impressed with his work than I was initially. As well, he claimed to have a warranty on his work but then did not come clean with that when rust reappeared within two months of me getting my car back. I guess I am one of the ones that slipped through his cracks.
On the bright side, I found someone in Lacombe (Craig Phillips) that did an excellent job of fixing things for me.

Well, I guess what they say is true...you get what you pay for! I wonder if Dean's $4000 paint job will last longer that Ernie's now $9000 rust repair! Will Frank's be around in a year to warranty the peeling/chipping paint? I bet Modern Auto Body will be. And guess what? They have a lifetime paint warranty! Cheers.

Funny thing is you asked for a perfect job
Dean you asked for a price to paint your BMW so no one could tell it was painted and that is what I quoted you for, you asked to take all the trim off and strip the paint, re-prime,sand and block sand and make the car look perfect. Maybe you should not ask for something that you dont understand or slag someone they way you do when you are un-informed. I quoted for what you asked for! If you wanted a splash and dash job i would not have quoted you as I would not have done that kind of job!!!

hey dude... don't take it wrong. the word on the street is you do
a good job and everyone is happy with you.
i stopped by, and found out you paid for that. SO I GOT THE WORK DONE BY SOMEONE FOR LESS MONEY. my loss... But the work was good and I enjoy looking at my Z3 every time I see it. I'm very, very, happy.

Re: DONT USE MAACO- ESPECIALLY IN BARRIE ON
We have had very bad experiences dealing with this maaco as well. The rust came back through 3 mos. after the paint job was done. Furthermore the paint looks to have pin holes in it. It looks like several people have had problems with Maaco over the last 4 years.
