e38 steering wheel
Hello,
I am truly happy with my 3/99 e38 740, bought 2,5 years ago and no problems except a broken refrigeration pump and the standard maintenance (I do it personally).
Well, I would like to change the stock steering wheel, and a sport one would be nice.
I have seen that there are several ones on sale at ebay germany, I am in Europe and it is not a problem to buy there.
But I donīt feel confident about how to check compatibility with my car, Does anybody know?
Regards,
MAS

Go w/ victor steering
My friend has a 2001 m5 and i loved the steering wheel but my victor steering wheel feels better. around the 4 and 8 its actually a bit flat the palm of your hand has a really good grip on the wheel. The installation took about 5 min total. my 2001 wheel looked the same as the one on e38's victor steering wheel how to but didnt' have a slip wring or any white plastic inside. just took two T10 torx screws, unclip the airbag electronics, 1 16mm socket w/ 59'lbs of torque and it was gone.
