The Euro adjusters are made with the typical BMW recycled plastic and usually break easily with age. The adjusters on the Euro headlights on my #1 car are fine but I did purchase a full set (3/headlight) from Gault as well as the special installation tool for future insurance. That generally means I will never need them. The adjusters on Canadian8ers J-spec 91 were all broken probably due (I suspect) to worn out headlight absorbers and Japanese road conditions. All better now and the full procedure to replace the adjusters can be found on e31faq.com.
