    Diagnostic Ports on 1995 325is

How many diagnostic ports are there on a 95 325is? I notice 2 in my engine compartment, one on driver side by master cylinder and another? on passenger side. Which one would you need to plug Peake Reader into to pull error codes? I did the 5 pedal trick but cant seem to get it to kick out any codes.

Keep trying the pedal trick... It'll eventually work.

Key has to be in position #2 (so the CE light is lit). Pedal *fully* to the floor 5 times within 5 seconds of turning the key. Be methodical - don't rush.

Still takes me a few tries each time.

    I'm with Woods......

keep trying the stomp test, you'll get it eventually. Don't spend the $$$ on a code reader when you can get the codes for free.

I stand corrected. On my 93 525i it's on the

driver's side. On my wife's 95 325i it's on the passenger side. Sorry for the mistake.
